Bedgebury Florilegium

The national Pinetum at Bedgebury in Kent is recognised as one of the most complete collections of conifers in one site anywhere in the world and is a centre for international conservation.

The Bedgebury Florilegium is a group of artists who meet regularly at the Pinetum to make accurate watercolour paintings which record all aspects of the life cycle of each specimen tree. Within the Pinetum there are also many other plants, shrubs, wild flowers, butterflies and insects giving the group a never ending choice of subjects to paint.
